About Us
Lemon-Aid Films was founded in 1993 by videographer, Al Ward and registered dietitian Liz Weiss to produce high-quality educational videos on health and nutrition.
Liz Weiss
Liz Weiss, MS, RD is a sought-after cooking instructor, speaker, and consultant. She is co-author of The Moms' Guide to Meal Makeovers: Improving the Way Your Family Eats, One Meal at a Time! (Broadway Books, 2004) and co-founder of the free online "Meal Makeover Moms' Club" at www.MealMakeoverMoms.com. She is a contributing editor for Health magazine, a monthly columnist for Nick Jr. Family Magazine, and writes for other publications and websites including Better Homes & Gardens, American Baby, and AboutSeafood.com. Liz is an award-winning television journalist who covered health and nutrition stories for PBS and CNN for more than a decade. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two sons.
Al Ward
Al Ward, founder, president and director of production for AWARD Productions, Inc., provides the technical and production expertise behind the Lemon-Aid product set. Al's camerawork and editing is regularly seen on CNN, PBS, FOX, CBS, and Discovery. He has produced and directed hundreds of corporate and educational video programs, as well as directing four award-winning PBS documentaries including Emmy Nominated "Beyond Kittyhawk" (2003).
